Click on Bids/RFPs/RFQs. On the Bid Postings page, you can search Open and Closed solicitations. Click on the hyperlink (solicitation number) and a folder will appear with related documents. After acceptance date: To check solicitation results, select "Show Closed/Awarded/Cancelled Bids". You can sort by Bid Title, Closing Date, or Status.

Notice: RSW Regional Jail will notify registered vendors of specific bids, proposals, and addenda that are issued. If you are not a registered vendor and you are interested in submitting a bid or proposal, check our website regularly for addenda. Failure to acknowledge all addenda could result in rejection of your bid/proposal as non-responsive. In the case of an inconsistency between information on this site and the written document, the written document shall prevail.
Authority to Transact Business in Virginia
As of July 1, 2010, the Code Of Virginia requires that to be eligible for award, any bidder or offeror organized as a stock or nonstock corporation, limited liability company, business trust, or limited partnership or registered as a registered limited liability partnership must be authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a domestic or foreign business entity if so required by Title 13.1 or Title 50 of the Code of Virginia or as otherwise required by law.
All bidders/offerors shall include in its bid/proposal the identification number issued to it by the State Corporation Commission (“SCC”). (This is not the business license or contractor’s license number.) Any bidder/offeror that is not required to be authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth as a foreign business entity under Title 13.1 or Title 50 of the Code of Virginia or as otherwise required by law shall include in its bid or proposal a statement describing why the offeror is not required to be so authorized. Any bidder/offeror described herein that fails to provide the required information shall not receive an award unless a waiver of this requirement and the administrative policies and procedures established to implement this section is granted by the County Administrator.
